Consignment and Buyout FAQs

Why Consign with us?

We offer highly competitive payout rates and do not mark down prices or offer any coupons during the consignment period - simply put, you will get paid according to your contract - no surprises!  There are no fees to consign and no minimum number of pieces required.   

What type of items do we consign?

We specialize in resale of authentic high-end designer bags, shoes, jewelry and accessories.  Items must be in good and clean condition.  We do not accept damaged or refurbished merchandise.

What brands do we accept on consignment?

Our best selling brands:  

 

Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermes and Gucci

Balenciaga, Burberry, Cartier, Celine, Chanel, Chloe, Christian Dior, Christian Louboutin, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Givenchy, Goyard, Gucci, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Michele, Prada, Rolex, Salvatore Ferragamo, Stella McCartney, Tom Ford, Valentino, Saint Laurent, Van Cleef & Arpels

We DO NOT consign the following brands:

Coach, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Furla, Marc Jacobs and Tory Burch

What items do we buyout?

We only buyout the following items:  select Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Chanel, Gucci handbags and accessories, Rolex watches, Van Cleef & Arpels and Cartier jewelry in excellent condition.

How do I start the consignment process?

OPTION 1:   DROP-OFF at our NJ store location
 

Drop-off consignments any time during our business hours. We only take select merchandise, so to make the most of your time and ours we recommend emailing us at info@shopluxurylabels.com with a detailed description and photo(s) of the particular items(s) you plan on consigning.  We will then review and if acceptable, will provide an estimated sales price and payout for your items.

OPTION 2:  MAIL IN (We provide FREE UPS Label on qualified items only)
 

  • For handbags, submit for a quote here or email info@shopluxurylabels.com with a description (designer, size, any flaws) and detailed photos of your items.

  • We will be in touch within 24 hours to notify if your items are approved, pricing/payout information and a copy of the contract will be emailed to you, should you decide to proceed.

  • Ship approved items and a signed copy of your contract to our store location.

  • Upon receiving your mailed-in items, Luxury Labels representative will inspect, authenticate and confirm pricing for your items.

  • Payment will be issued 7 business days after your item sells and can be mailed as a check or sent via Paypal.  

  • If your items do not sell within 90 days consignment period, Luxury Labels will prepare and ship unsold items back to you.

How do you sell merchandise?

We market and sell your items through multiple channels; via our storefront, website and social media.  In each venue, we use our expert knowledge of the upscale consignment market to maximize the value of each of your items.
